Kornya with Kosiv painting

The pot, or cup, is made in ethnic style with Ukrainian ornaments.

It is created using the technique of rituvannya (scratching). Each element is painted using syringes for painting with appropriate colors.

First, the product, covered with white clay, is fired in the oven, then painted, covered with transparent glaze and baked again. Kosiv painting is recognizable due to its special color and graphic motifs. The masters use a limited number of colors: white, green and various shades of ocher, from light yellow to brown.

The final steps are the vypals. They are like a mystery, because the final result does not always meet expectations.

This pot is pleasant to the touch, comfortable to hold in the hand. In the middle of the cup, a spiral of time is drawn on yellow, which brings peace and joy during tea drinking.
