The "Barske Hornyatko" (Bar-style mug) featuring the "Stroll" pattern is a handcrafted piece by artisans from "Keramika Podillia" in the Vinnytsia region. They are dedicated to reviving Ukraine's cultural heritage by creating tableware adorned with the traditional painting styles of their region.
Bar ceramics represent a renowned folk craft from the town of Bar in the Podillia region.
In the 19th century, Bar was a major pottery hub; its wares were celebrated for their elegance, distinctive white background, and graphic quality. The craft's signature features include "horn" painting (applying slip via a horn-shaped tool) and *flankuvannia* (blending colors), creating an organic harmony of white, green, ochre-yellow, and brown tones.
Made from natural, eco-friendly clay and finished with a safe glaze, this piece is perfect for daily use and for serving hot or cold dishes.
