Description

"The Art of Easter Egg Painting by Vira Manko" wooden puzzle from Ukrainian Puzzles

"Pysanka is a whole world of symbols, colors and traditions. Each region of Ukraine has developed its own techniques and ornaments that have been passed down from generation to generation, creating a unique cultural heritage.

Among researchers and masters of pysanka, Vira Manko (1956, Lviv) holds a special place. She has written, collected and preserved thousands of traditional patterns, publishes books that become a reference point for many modern pysanka makers, and popularizes the Ukrainian art of egg painting all over the world. The pysanka presented in this puzzle are the author's works of Vira Manko, demonstrating a variety of styles and regional features.

Assembling this puzzle is not only a pleasant process, but also a way to carefully consider the patterns, features of different styles and ornaments from different parts of Ukraine. The diverse shapes of the elements, among which there are Easter symbols, make the assembly process even more exciting.

Puzzle “The Art of Pysanka Making” – a great way to spend time with loved ones, exploring traditions and preserving cultural heritage together.
