“The plate depicts a traditional Petrykivka wedding. The newlyweds are riding in a cart. The bride is wearing a wreath and holding a bouquet of flowers. The groom is holding a diven - a traditional wedding pastry. The dough is wound on reeds and baked in the oven. The top is decorated with sweets and ribbons.

The fish depicted below are the underworld. Where the newlyweds are is the level on which people live. At the top is a rosette of flowers, symbolizing the heavenly world.

The rim of the plate is dark green. It depicts a painting called a runner, an endless one. It symbolizes the endless cycle of the seasons in nature. It has a certain rhythm, so the floral elements are periodically repeated.

The painting was made with the following tools: a brush from a column, a pharmacy pipette, a match with wound cotton wool, a finger, the tip of a brush and a brush made of cat hair. It has never been produced and is not produced industrially. Each master makes it with his own hands.

Before cutting a cat, serious negotiations are held with it to make it agree. Cut very carefully so as not to harm the cat's good mood. In no case is it done by force. It is carefully cut under the paws so that the cat remains beautiful and in a good mood. After the cut, a tasty "fee" is necessarily given. Otherwise, she will no longer want to get a haircut. - Natalia Rybak.
