THE TREE OF LIFE - a beeswax candle with a Trypillya pattern from the craft brand "Family Candle Factory Valkovsky" inspired by the beauty of nature, traditions and everyday life of the Ukrainian people
The candle is decorated with a pattern based on the motifs of Poltava embroidery "Tree of Life". This pattern is a universe in which every creature has its own place, where every phenomenon is subject to rules. This image combines ideas about time, space, life and death.
Deer live here, who are the guardians of truth and guides of the souls of the deceased. Roosters (symbols of light that has overcome darkness) and birds (symbols of human souls, both living and those who have already flown away) are conveniently located on the branches of the tree.
This candle is a tribute to those who are no longer with us but are always near. By lighting it, we let them know that we continue to live with them, thanks to them and for their sake. them.
The symbols with which we decorate candles belong to ancient Ukrainian culture, live in embroidery and Easter eggs and received another life in candles thanks to our masters.
