'Zalishchyky' scarf by the contemporary Ukrainian design brand Art Trypillia
The pattern is inspired by the painted designs on ceramics from the Zalishchyky local group of the Trypillia culture (Stage B1, 4400–4100 BCE).
The composition reimagines the flowing spirals, undulating ribbons, and continuous rhythmic lines characteristic of Trypillian ornamentation. Their repetition creates a sense of movement and cyclicality—motifs that are among the most distinctive in Trypillian art.
A warm, natural color palette and graphic composition blend archaeological heritage with Art Trypillia’s modern aesthetic.
