Greyhound whistle for the Christmas tree 10 cm from "Lovya Leva" - a Ukrainian author's brand that revives a traditional Ukrainian toy, rethinking the folk heritage and adding new stylistic motifs.
"Do you have Christmas tree decorations that are passed down from generation to generation? I do. These are small balls that my grandparents used to decorate the Christmas tree with, an old-school garland, a pink fish ball)
Every year I keep one New Year's toy that has some special meaning for me. It can be a decoration that I just liked, or a special gift, or a New Year's toy created in "Lovya Leva". This way the Christmas tree is filled with memorable decorations, and the process of decorating the interior turns into pleasant memories of a particular period of life.
This special decoration can be this horse for you, which will complement your Christmas trees, or interiors for years in a row."
The painting of the whistler is created based on sketches by the contemporary Poltava artist Nato Mikeladze.
The masters of "Catching the Lion" spend a lot of time creating a whistler figurine. First, a sketch is drawn, then a mold is molded from plasticine, then the plaster mold is removed, filled with clay, dried, the clay is removed and all the parts are connected. After that, engobe painting is applied (engob is a mixture of clay and colored pigment), dried, fired. Then it is removed from the oven, a glaze is applied and fired again.
Dimensions: length - 10 cm
Material: clay, engobe painting, transparent food glaze
