Handmade bowl Barska ceramics with an ornament with a colored bird - this is a handmade work by Ukrainian craftsmen from Vinnytsia region, who revive the cultural heritage of Ukraine by making dishes with ancient Ukrainian painting of their region.
Barska ceramics is a famous folk craft of Podillya from the city of Bar in Vinnytsia region.
In the 19th century, Bar was one of the most powerful pottery centers, and its products were famous for their elegance, white background and special graphic design. The main recognizable feature of this craft is horn painting and flanking (blurring of colors), where white, green, ocher-yellow and brownish colors are organically combined.
Plates are not just dishes, but a real amulet, created according to authentic Podillya traditions.
This ceramics is made of natural ecological clay and covered with safe glaze, so it is perfect for everyday use and serving hot or cold dishes.
What do the symbols mean?
- Bird: a symbol of harmony, family happiness and good news.
- **Flowers and branches*: a symbol of flowering, fertility and life.
- Wavy line (rim): a symbol of water and a protective circle for the home.

- Do not wash in the dishwasher - only by hand with a soft sponge to preserve the glaze.
