History of Bubnivka ceramics
The Bubnivka craft was formed in the 19th century and became famous throughout the world thanks to the dynasties of master potters. The main feature of this ceramics is a geometric and floral ornament applied to wet clay with a flinder and a horn, which creates delicate, flowing patterns in the traditional range: terracotta, brown, white and green colors.
Symbolism of the ornament on the plates:
- "Sun" / Central rosette - a symbol of life-giving energy, light, harmony and family warmth.
- "Grape bunches" / Wreaths - the personification of abundance, fertility, strong lineage and well-being in the house.
- "Feathers" / Peacock tails - a symbol of beauty, spiritual flowering and protection from the evil eye.
- Wavy lines along the edge - a symbol of the fluidity of time, vitality and infinity.
Features of use and care:
Thanks to the traditional double firing and high-quality glaze coating, the dishes are suitable for daily use.
Microwave: allowed to be used for heating.
Oven: can be used (it is recommended to place in a cold oven to avoid a sharp temperature drop).
