We consider it our duty to revive and bring to a qualitatively new level the tradition of real honey-making and to give a new taste with the help of modern technologies.
Cikera is an alcoholic beverage made from natural honey, berry juices and direct-squeezed fruits without added sugar and alcohol. The harmonious combination of these components gives the drink a delicate floral aroma, dense texture and expressive aftertaste.
Why hoppy honey? Because this ancient drink has been known since biblical times. And, according to written evidence, in the territory of modern Ukraine, the production of honey drinks was extremely popular. The variety of ancient recipes for honey drinks is impressive.
The official opening of the honey factory took place on October 14, 2018 in Brovary. The equipment is certified according to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, ISO and other requirements, the Italian wine bottling line is established. The production capacity of the honey factory is half a million bottles a year.
Making honey drinks can be a promising business, because the promotion of honey drinks is gaining momentum in the world. Given that Ukraine is one of the world leaders in honey production, the honey industry can become an interesting local production.
The technology of fermentation of honey and natural juices of direct extraction is used in the manufacture of Cikera. No sweeteners, flavors or colors. Thanks to the fermentation technology, the drink retains all the useful trace elements of honey and juices.
