Mariya Soltys-Smirnova is a writer with almost 16 years of experience.
She started writing fairy tales for her own children. The children grew up, but the love for children's literature did not go anywhere.
Currently, on the "World of Fairy Tales" website, you can read more than 800 stories, which from time to time migrate to children's magazines, textbooks or newspapers.
Maria is the author of 15 of her own paper books and co-author of about 20 more publications, including Braille books for children with visual impairments.
The writer runs the "Kazkariki" club and the "Club of Anonymous Authors" in Varasha.

This book was created and published as part of the charitable project "Kentavrida". In 2022, our charitable foundation "It's Craft" initiated a project where writers write works based on the history or legends of Ukraine, and after competitive selection, some works are published in the "Centaurida" collection, and others you can read in electronic form. The project is designed to dispel the remnants of inferiority and disrespect for Ukrainian culture and our historical figures, and most importantly - to form such a good level of knowledge about Ukrainian heroes and values that there will never be wars and strife on our land again.
