Description

Peanut flour 200 g from the Ukrainian enterprise for the production of delicious and healthy TM "EKOLIYA" products.

Peanut flour is what remains from peanuts after the oil has been squeezed out of them. The flour is a great gluten-free alternative to traditional wheat flour. It is often used in cooking to enhance the taste of various dishes, as well as to support a low-carbohydrate diet. Peanut flour is used in the preparation of various sauces, soups, bread, cakes and noodles, as well as protein shakes and bars. To obtain flour, peanuts are roasted and peeled. Then the kernels of the nuts are pressed and peanut butter is obtained, which goes on sale. Peanut oil is very popular in a number of countries and is used in cooking for frying products. The rest of the nuts after squeezing the oil are dried and ground into a powder. This is how peanut flour turns out.

The fat content of peanut flour and its color vary slightly, dep

ing on the method of preparation. It can be light, dark or mixed in color, and the percentage of fat content ranges from 12 to 28%. To get a dark colored peanut flour, you need to roast the nuts for a longer time. The more heavily roasted the peanuts, the more fat, and the more fat, the tastier they are.

Properties of peanut flour

Peanut flour is also good because it contains few carbohydrates compared to wheat white flour. Instead, it has much more proteins. While a cup of wheat flour has about 13 grams of protein, a cup of peanut flour contains 31 grams of protein. That's why protein shakes and bars are made from this flour.

Cooks use peanut flour to thicken soups and sauces, and add it to various side dishes and desserts to enhance their taste. Sometimes they partially or completely replace wheat flour, which is used in the preparation of confectionery products.

They say that you can even make peanut sandwich mass (peanut paste) from peanut flour. To do this, add a small amount of peanut oil or water to it and mix to a paste-like state. Then sugar and salt are added to taste. The resulting mass is used to spread sandwiches.
