The purpose of the event

is to create an environment for the development of creativity and professional skills of participants through educational trips aimed at learning various traditional Ukrainian crafts. It also aims to create conditions for the restoration of small communities based on tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

Trypillia is the culture of a proto-civilization that formed the basis of Ukrainian cultural identity. It is also a topic that will once again proclaim to the world the uniqueness and value of our nation, our deep roots that have sprouted in different European countries.

Other project activities:

1) On April 26-27, the first event within the project was held - the hackathon “Mythologizing Trypillia” in Uman. As part of the hackathon, a diverse community of people was formed to mythologize and modernize approaches to the development of territories using Trypillia culture, as well as to develop new methodologies, prototypes of creative products, and business models. More than 90 people took part in the two-day event.

2) Educational studios are 15 days of training in traditional techniques and technologies of Ukrainian applied arts and crafts with accommodation at the training location. 24 selected participants will be trained in one of the following villages:

- Lehedzyne and Opishnia - ceramics,

- Busha - weaving,

- Klembivka - embroidery.

The beneficiaries' task will be not only to learn the techniques, but also to develop modern design products by September 15, which will be a combination of classical techniques and modernized Trypillia motifs and themes.

During the educational studies, the beneficiaries will receive mentoring and consulting support from the project team, business, scientists, and educators.
