In ancient times, when humanity was still searching for its place in the world,a unique culture developed on the territory of Ukraine-Tripillia. One of the mysterious artifacts, that remained to us from those distant times, are so-called "Tripoli binoculars». These vessels in the shape of two cylinders with conical bowls at the top and bottom create a deep symbolic world and represent a great cultural heritage.

Trypil binoculars are a prototype of Heaven and Earth, the embodiment of the bottomlessness and limitlessness of human existence.

They had great religious significance and were used as symbols of the divine duo, that wove the world from the golden threads of the transcendent. These vessels were not only used in fertility magic, but also served as household amulets. They were on altars, next to the furnaces, which emphasized their importance in the life of Trypilians.  One of the most famous rites, district connected with Tripoli binoculars, it is an agricultural rite "watering the earth». During this ceremony, a handful of seven binoculars were sown in one watering can, and water poured into another watering can. It symbolized fertilizing the earth and watering it with sacred water. Binocular funnels, resembling the shape of a woman's breast, simulated rain and ate the earth. These ritual actions contributed to the harvest and symbolized thanksgiving to the Sky and the Sun for a bountiful harvest. Interesting, that a similar ceremony with the pouring of wine was also found in Greek culture.

There are suspicions, that Greek culture, partly originating in Ukraine, had certain influences and similarities to the Tryplian culture.

This indicates a broad context of research and relationships connection of cultural phenomena.

Trypil binoculars are not just ritual objects, and symbols, which have a deep meaning. They embody the unique concept of the creation of the world and the inheritance of the divine in man, man as the Creator.

That is why it is so difficult to classify Trypil binoculars and assign them to a certain group of vessels, because it is not a dish, and an object for sacred rites, which have not survived to our time.

The value of Tryplian binoculars was reinforced by finds in the Temple of Tryplian Culture near the village of Nebelivka, Kirovohrad region. They became a model of organized spiritual life and religious symbols in the sacred space of the temple. Archaeologists found fragments"binoculars"on one of the altars. This testifies to the importance of these vessels in the religious life and rituals of the Trypians.

Interesting, that binoculars fascinate of all, who sees them for the first time.

Perhaps this is their very sacred nature. After all, contemplating the doubled binary structure, at first glance not practical, imagination awakens in a person's head and imaginative thinking completes options for using binoculars. We remember everything binary:dark and light, female and male, material and invisible, earthly and divine. If you think about the ceremony itself, to be conducted by Tripilians with this subject, then we understand how deep our ancestors culture and worldview were. How mature culture was formed, when people lived in harmony and peace with nature, who fed them, but which they mastered.

Trypil binoculars are not only ancient ritual objects, but also symbols, which help to reveal and understand the depth of Tripoli culture.

They represent the heritage of our distant ancestors and remain mysterious symbols, that concern humanity. The Trypil culture lived for a millennium and a half and dissolved in the new epoch of Scythia, leaving us only memories of his majesty. But Trypil binoculars remind us of this unique world, which is so hard to understand, but so great to explore.

Finishing, it should be noted, that the study and analysis of the Tryplian binoculars give us the opportunity to penetrate into the depths of ancient symbolic worlds, to expand our understanding and appreciation of cultural heritage. They testify to the majesty and complexity of the ancient Tripoli civilization, which remains a perennial source of intrigue and research. Trypil binoculars are an invitation to travel through time and the cultural world of our ancestors, which so needs to be preserved and studied for future generations.
